Privacy Policy
Dig Deeper (“the app”) is operated by Andy Corp (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the app and keep your reading in sync.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address and name, provided when you create an account directly or through Sign in with Apple or Google.
- Your reading activity — devotionals you open, your progress, and verses or notes you save, so your place is kept across your devices.
- Device & usage data — basic device information and anonymous analytics (such as app version, device type, and which features are used) to keep the app stable and improve it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
How we use it
We use your information to provide and personalize the app, sync your reading across devices, respond to support requests, and keep the service secure and working properly.
Service providers we use
We rely on a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf and only as needed to deliver the service:
- AI provider — devotional content is generated with the help of a third-party AI provider (such as Anthropic or OpenAI). Devotionals are written within an established expository tradition and reviewed before publishing. Your personal account data is not used to train these providers' models.
- Apple and Google — if you sign in with Apple or Google, or if Dig Deeper offers in-app purchases through the App Store or Google Play in the future, those are processed by Apple and Google. We never see or store your full payment details.
- Email provider — we use an email service to send account-related and support messages.
Data retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal or tax obligations.
Your rights & choices
You can access, correct, or delete your information at any time. You may delete your account from within the app or by emailing us (see Account Deletion). Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; contact us to exercise them.
Children
Dig Deeper is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Questions? Email Andy@digdeeper.ai.
Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Andy Corp governing your use of the Dig Deeper app and website. By using the app, you agree to these Terms.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
Devotionals & lessons
Every devotional and lesson published in the app — scripture, context, cross-references, the original Hebrew and Greek, and small-group and family lessons — is free. There is no paywall and no subscription for this content.
Customization
We offer paid customization for anyone who wants something built specifically for them: a personalized devotional plan for an individual, or a fully branded ministry app for a church. Customization is not an in-app purchase or subscription — it's a separate service, scoped and priced individually after a conversation about your goals. Pricing, timeline, and any ongoing hosting or upkeep for a customization engagement are agreed to separately, in writing, before work begins.
Refunds
Because customization is a bespoke service scoped individually, refund terms are set out in that engagement's agreement. If Dig Deeper offers in-app purchases through the App Store or Google Play in the future, those are handled under Apple's and Google's respective refund policies.
Acceptable use
Please use the app for personal devotional and study purposes. Do not copy, resell, scrape, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app's content except for the personal sharing features we provide.
Content & scripture
Scripture is presented from the World English Bible (WEB), a public-domain translation, with original-language references. Devotional commentary is provided for spiritual encouragement and study and reflects an expository, historically Christian perspective; it is not a substitute for the counsel of your own pastor or church.
Disclaimers & liability
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Andy Corp is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Account & Data Deletion
You can delete your Dig Deeper account and the personal data associated with it at any time.
Delete from within the app
Open Settings → Account → Delete Account and confirm. Your account and reading data are removed immediately, and any backups are purged within 30 days.
Delete by email
If you can't access the app, email Andy@digdeeper.ai from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account.” We will verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
We delete your account, email, name, and your saved reading activity, progress, and notes. Limited records may be retained only where required for legal or tax purposes. If Dig Deeper offers in-app purchases through Apple or Google in the future, those must be cancelled separately in your store account.
